1. Collection of Decedent
Agape Bereavement Care collects your loved one from the place of death which could be:
- At home (We have 24/7 doctors that can certify the death. Please have in place historical medical records of the deceased so as to facilitate this process.)
- At the hospice
- At the hospital
Our meticulous staff would bring the body back to our care centre.
- Professional cleansing, embalming and makeup would be done
You will be assigned a personal Funeral Director who will be assisting you throughout the entire duration of the funeral.
2. Wake Venue Preparations
The body would be brought back to the wake venue and this could be at a:
- Void deck
- Private premise
- Funeral parlour
Note that we assist in the booking of void decks and funeral parlours and in the application of needed permits to hold funeral wakes at private estates.
Our package typically includes:
- Half glass imported polished coffin
- Transportation of decedent to the embalming care facility, to the wake venue and to the crematorium
- Well presented pallbearers
- Photo enlargement with 6 passport-sized photographs
- Wooden frame to contain the photograph
- Floral frame and flower decor
- Christian backdrop
- Safe box
- Condolence book and basic stationeries
- Mini speaker
- Obituary
- Funeral memorabilia
If the wake is at the void deck, our package consists of:
- Tentage (Steel structures, canvases, curtain drapes)
- Carpet for the casket area
- 100 Chairs
- 10 Round Tables
- 15 Square Tables (5 Tables can be changed to 50 chairs upon request)
- Air coolers
- General lights and fans
3. Funeral Day
Our package has the following items to ensure a smooth send-off for your loved one on the final day of the funeral:
- Well presented pallbearers
- Funeral hearse to transport decedent to the crematorium
- Umbrellas to counter adverse weather
- Reception area at the crematorium
- 45 Seater air-conditioned bus (2 Way)
- Montage of the funeral procession
- Cremation booking and documentation
- Ash collection service
