Christian Funeral Services in Singapore consists of three main parts namely;

1. The Encoffining Process where the decedent is brought back to the wake venue. A pastor may or may not be present to officiate the process.
2. The Christian night service which is usually conducted on the final night of the wake service. Family members can consider sharing a eulogy during the night service as well.
3. Christian Funeral Service on the final day of the wake. A short service would usually be conducted at the wake venue before the cortege leaves. Family members have 30 minutes of allocated time at Mandai Crematorium in Singapore before the actual cremation occurs. Flowers are often placed on top of the casket as a form of a final tribute paid to the decedent at the final stage of the funeral service.

Christian Funeral Services in Singapore can be held at either the void deck or parlours in Singapore.

Unlike other religions, Christian Funerals do not require family members of the deceased to be dressed in white. Unbeknownst to us, different attire colours actually carry different meanings depending on the religion and country.
